Yes, there is a 3% fee per transaction, which aligns with most credit card transaction fees that you are likely already accounting for. Plus, this fee is much lower than most conventional financing programs that can cost as much as 11%! Our recommendation, build the fee into your quote and offer a 3% discount is the customer is paying by cash or check. Who doesn’t like a discount, right?
If you have not opt’d into our Courtesy Pay program, all items marked to return will go back as to the payee as unpaid.
Not only will this trigger additional fees from the payee's financial institution, but you will likely be charged late fees as well. When this happens, you may become a credit risk, which can have a long-term impact on your credit rating.
When a transaction might cause an overdraft, this is how DoubleCheck works:
1, DoubleCheck will send you an alert via email and text.
2. Log into online or mobile banking and follow the instructions to decide how to pay for the item, including agreeing to a service charge of $20.
3. You have the option to pay for items with cash, a credit card, a third-party payment service, or by transferring funds from another account at Nymeo.
4. You only pay the service charge if you use DoubleCheck to make any changes.
5. It doesn’t cost anything to login and view your transactions.
6. The $20 fee is applied only after you elect to make changes.
- Provides peace of mind that critical payments get paid like rent or utilities.
- Avoid cancelled services
- Protects your reputation and credit rating.
- Offers alternative payment options to add funds to your account after the fact
- Help avoid NSF fees or Courtesy Pay fees.
Yes, there is a service charge fee of $20. You only pay the service charge if you use DoubleCheck to make any changes.
If you choose to use a credit card, there is an additional 2.5% credit card transaction fee. However, it doesn’t cost anything to login and view your transactions. The fee is applied only after you choose to make changes
