We succeed when our communities succeed. From educational programs to monetary and voluntary support for local nonprofits, we actively invest in the communities we serve. After all, this is our home too.

It’s an unfortunate reality but many children in our community do not know when to expect their next meal. With this in mind, Nymeo created the $wipe-Out-Hunger program. Our members can be an active part in feeding school-age children and their families.
And helping is so easy! Members simply swipe their Nymeo Visa Debit Card, and then we donate ½ cent to the Maryland Food Bank’s Frederick County School Pantry Program. Since 2014, Nymeo has donated over $50,000 towards this program – and it’s growing!
Nymeo takes an active role in supporting students in our communities by investing in their education through the Believe and Achieve Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to Frederick or Montgomery County Public High School Seniors and Nymeo members. Other credit union college scholarship opportunities are available through the Credit Union Foundation of DC and MD. Look for scholarship details and the application in mid February.
Whether serving lunch at the Frederick Rescue Mission or helping elsewhere throughout the community, Nymeo employees actively spend time during regular work hours volunteering and making a direct impact in our communities.
