DoubleCheck Overdraft Platform Ending

Your Overdraft Coverage Remains the Same

Effective Date of the Change
August 28, 2026

What’s Changing

Nymeo Federal Credit Union is discontinuing the DoubleCheck overdraft protection platform. This change is limited to the technology and provider that previously presented DoubleCheck payment options.

What’s Not Changing

Your overdraft coverage is not changing and you will continue to have overdraft protection. How we determine and assess overdrafts, and the applicable terms and conditions will remain the same. When processing transactions, we begin each business day with your prior day’s final account balance (your “actual balance”), then post settled credits and debits, and also account for pending debit transactions to determine your “available balance.” We determine whether an overdraft has occurred using your available balance; each debit we process that results in or increases a negative available balance is an overdraft and may be subject to an overdraft charge, consistent with our existing terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for any overdraft fees when we pay an overdraft and any non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees if we return an item; it remains your responsibility to know your account balance and contact us if you have questions. Examples of credits include items such as electronic direct deposits, fully collected check deposits, ACH credits that have settled that day, and cash deposits with a teller. Examples of debits include items such as checks presented for payment, returned checks represented for payment, preauthorized and settled electronic fund transfer (EFT) debits, memo-posted EFT debits we have authorized but that have not yet settled, reinitiated EFT debits, and applicable credit union fees and charges.

Do You Need to Do Anything?

No action is required. Your account’s overdraft handling and terms continue unchanged from Nymeo’s existing overdraft program.
