A college education is one of the most important investments a person can make. Nymeo is dedicated to helping youth in our communities as they begin this journey by offering two college scholarship opportunities.

Youth are the future. Nymeo takes an active role in supporting students in our communities by investing in their future through the Believe and Achieve Scholarship Program. Since 2015, we have awarded over $29,000 in scholarships to 19 students. There are two $1500 scholarships available. Frederick or Montgomery County High School Seniors and Nymeo members are welcome to apply.
Deadline for applications is Midnight, April 15, 2024. Awards will be announced in May 2024.
Nymeo and the Credit Union Foundation of MDIDC are pleased to offer a college scholarship opportunity for students to meet tuition costs. The $12,000 Credit Union College Scholarship Program is underway! You must be a MDIDC Credit Union member to apply for this scholarship.
Deadline for applications is Midnight, April 15, 2024. Awards will be announced in June 2024.
Applying for the FAFSA is the first place college students should start. This is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You should apply every year, even if you don’t think you will qualify. Many scholarship and grant programs require the FAFSA to be submitted before you are even considered. Then, check with your guidance counselor for scholarships and grants available. If you need a loan, it is recommended to take federal student loans before you explore private student loan options (such as Nymeo's student loan program through Credit Union Student Choice).
